Students will be introduced to middle school life at Langston Hughes Middle School. They will learn about what it means to be a Langston Hughes Panther, discover how to navigate the new building, review the secrets to academic success, meet key staff members, and make friends. 

Many questions will be answered! 

• What are the biggest adjustments from elementary school? 
• How many classes do I have?
• What is Panther POWER? 
• What clubs and programs can I participate in? 
• What is expected from me as a student? 
• How can I get help with....?
• How do I navigate this gigantic building?  What if I get lost? 
• Who can help me with any questions that I might have?
