Creative Writing  (every other week)

Voltaire once said, “Writing is the painting of the voice!” Writing doesn’t always have to be formulaic, structured, research-based, or to be frank, boring! Writing can be an outlet of personal expression, a way for us to artistically represent who we are, what we imagine, and what we feel.  Please join Mrs. Converse in the media center every other Wednesday after school to paint with words.  Club members will be asked to explore the art of creative writing by reacting to various stimuli and situations through creative written expression.  Students will use the like of art, photography, foods, smells, and mysterious sentences to inspire their written pieces.  In addition to possibly be featured in our end-of-the-year literary magazine, work that shines will be showcased around the building, through ATL lessons, posted to our school social medias, and posted on the FCPS Write Here Write Now writing website.
